Sunflower

A sunflower seed yields around 40% oil and 60% oilcake. Sown in April and harvested in early autumn. Thanks to its adaptability and undemanding nature, sunflower requires little water, fertilizer or treatment. Its powerful root system enables it to draw the elements it needs deep from the soil.
