Soybeans

Soya is a plant rich in oils and proteins, whose seeds are used in human and animal nutrition. Sown in May and harvested in September-October, soy improves soil structure for the following crop, requires few inputs and little intervention in the field. Adapted to a wide range of cropping systems, soybeans can be grown over an increasingly wide area of France, either dry or irrigated. Soya is perfectly suited to organic production methods. A Soja de France charter guarantees the production of non-GMO, traced and sustainable French soybeans. The choice of a suitable variety, careful sowing and controlled weeding are the keys to successful cultivation.
