Winter lupin

Rich in proteins and fats, lupins are used in animal and human nutrition. As a legume capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen, it requires no nitrogen fertilizer. An excellent preceding crop for the following cereal, lupin improves soil structure, breaks the cycle of bio-aggressors and provides nitrogen. Winter lupins, sown in September/October and harvested in July/August, allow you to spread out the work on the farm. Lupins are not sensitive to aphanomyces and are well suited to organic farming.
