At the end of the course, participants will be able to :
- recognize the main symptoms of fungal diseases affecting sunflower crops
- Apply observation and rapid identification techniques under real conditions (in the field)
- Distinguish between main diseases and secondary diseases or risks of confusion
- Be familiar with the various control methods for the main diseases
Teaching methods
Face-to-face format: One day alternating theoretical input in the classroom and practical application in the field (depending on agronomic conditions).
Active methods: Illustrated presentations, field observations, case studies, exchanges between participants, questions and answers.
Evaluation: Quiz, oral questions and answers, observation exercises, individual satisfaction survey, self-assessment.
Teaching resources
Theoretical support: classroom lectures, illustrated presentations, technical documents given to participants.
Recognition tools: Observation grids, comparative photos, disease sheets to facilitate identification in real-life conditions.
Field diagnosis: Observation of affected plots (depending on conditions), collective analysis of symptoms and factors contributing to disease.
