Each year, researchers involved in the Syppre project in the deep loam soils of Picardy review the results and lessons learned from the previous growing season, as well as the cumulative findings since the project began.

The 2024–2025 growing season was characterized by relatively rainy weather in the fall, which delayed the planting of winter crops, and drier conditions in the spring.
