It originates from a German report on visits to soybean processing sites. This report was then enriched by Patrick Carré, process engineer at Terres Inovia, in collaboration with Itab, the Pays de la Loire Chamber of Agriculture and Ifip, and published by Itab.
A chapter on the reasons for treatments, the nature of anti-nutritional factors and the mechanisms of their inactivation has been included, as well as various typologies (with comments) of existing equipment.
The aim is to help the organic farming sector, especially farmers wishing to use soy in poultry and pig rations.
