They talk about it

Laura Giles, an agricultural engineer, is in charge of regional communications in the South of France. In her job, she likes to act as a link between Terres Inovia and farmers.

"I'm an agricultural engineer, a graduate of VetAgro Sup (Clermont-Ferrand - 63). I didn't originally have any specific training in communications, but I've always had a real attraction for this field, in which I've learned a lot through my previous experiences.

It's hard to describe a typical day in my job, because it's so varied, and that's exactly what makes it so exciting! Between writing and distributing articles via our daily newsletter or the press, organizing events in the field, technical meetings and trade shows, and managing social networks, every day brings its own set of challenges. As Communications Manager, I'm in constant contact with the regional team to keep abreast of developments in the crops we're working on, and I often accompany them out in the field, particularly to take photos and videos, which are essential to our communications actions. My role also allows me to interact with other professions within the company, such as the research and experimentation teams. This diversity means that each day is unique and always stimulating.

What really motivates me in my job is acting as a link between Terres Inovia and farmers. It also means making the most of all the work accomplished by the institute to provide growers with concrete and useful answers, to support them campaign after campaign, but also in the evolution of their profession".
