Naexus
aims to boost the uptake of digital technologies in agriculture by federating a wide network of players in research, development and training. To this end, it proposes the networking of a broad ecosystem of skills with a view to developing in-depth partnerships between players in research, training and development.
Data Science and Modeling for Agriculture and the Food Industry
is designed to organize exchanges on this theme between the various players involved in research, development and agricultural education.
Data Science and Modeling for Agriculture and the Food Industry
ClimA
aims to accelerate the management and transfer of R&D work on adapting farms to climate change.
Filarmoni
deals with the economics of agri-food chains, in particular several animal (pork, beef, sheep, poultry and eggs, dairy products) and vegetable (fruit and vegetables, cereals, oilseeds and protein crops) sectors.
Bestim
aims to understand, develop and promote strategies to optimize plant immunity in an agroecological context.
Bouclage
aims to pool, develop and synergize existing scientific and technical skills within the agronomic research, training and development system, in order to provide references, methods and tools for better looping of biogeochemical cycles, sustainable management of agricultural resources and better control of the risks of environmental and health impacts.
Prot&in
aims to steer the development of the supply of plant-based protein ingredients and foods by placing users at the heart of an open innovation approach.
Mixed Technology Units
They bring together partners from the fields of agricultural research, training and development to conduct a nationwide research and development program on a given geographical site, with results that can be exploited in the short or medium term.
Terres Inovia participates in two UMTs:
ETTAP
Transdisciplinary Team for Apiculture and Pollination Transitions" 2025-2029
Beekeeping and pollination are undergoing profound transformations under the pressure of climatic, environmental and market disturbances, in conjunction with new societal expectations. There are many ways in which systems can evolve, modifying the interdependent relationships between players, in particular between beekeepers, farmers and packers/marketers.
The UMT ETTAP aims to define the objectives of tomorrow's beekeeping and pollination systems, and to equip partners to assess the impact of their work.
Common interest groups
These consortia help to develop collaborations at the interface between research and business players, to accelerate innovation in research areas.
GIE Soja
Created in 1980, GIE Soja is an economic interest group whose mission is to support and boost soybean research and development.
Protein crop breeders' group
This group brings together France's leading pea and faba bean breeders to carry out collective varietal improvement programs.
Field Crops GIS
This Scientific Interest Group (GIS), in which Terres Inovia participates, develops field crop production systems for improved economic and environmental performance. In addition to financial support, Terres Inovia participates in the strategic orientation committee and the operational board, and its experts take part in the various working groups.
GIS Green biotechnologies
This Scientific Interest Group aims to develop technologies and skills for the development of innovative varieties. It relies on a very broad public-private partnership, bringing together research organizations, seed companies, industry representatives, technical institutes and competitiveness clusters. Terres Inovia is a partner in several projects accredited by the GIS Biotechnologies vertes.
GIS REVALIM
The mission of this Scientific Interest Group is to develop methods and data to support players in the agricultural and food sectors in their eco-design of production, processing and distribution methods, and to develop consumer information tools.
French Society for Lipid Studies (SFEL)
SFEL brings together industry players and research laboratories, specializing in fats and related fields. It organizes meetings, conferences and competitions, compiles documentation and contributes to articles and reviews. The association also awards grants to promote research of general interest in the oils, fats and lipids industry.
COMIFER
Terres Inovia is a member of the Comité français d'étude et de développement de la fertilisation raisonnée, which shares knowledge on soil fertility, nutrient management and efficiency, and crop fertilization taking into account environmental impacts (water, air, soil). This committee develops and distributes technical references and methods that have been collectively validated. It develops and improves farming practices that contribute to high-performance, sustainable agriculture.
Club Climat Agriculture
Terres Inovia is a member of this group, which pools scientific, political and economic expertise on climate issues related to agriculture, and helps develop common tools to stimulate the implementation of low-carbon projects.
CSTI (RNEST network)
The institute participates in CSTI. This committee brings together 32 selected experts recognized for their work or commitment to all aspects of sustainable soil management. Its role is to act as an interface, bringing together research project leaders and those involved in soil-related activities. It carries out actions in the fields of public policy, research, development and innovation, as well as the dissemination of soil information.
OCL
The OCL journal aims to support and develop scientific communications in the field of oilseeds and their uses. It involves Terres Inovia, with Terres Univia, SFEL, FNCG and ITERG as funders, as well as INRAE.
Harvest Alliance
This sponsorship chair, managed by the AgroParisTech Foundation, enables the development of projects focusing on digital applications in agriculture.
Competitive clusters
They bring together companies of all sizes, research laboratories and educational establishments. They support innovation and encourage the development of particularly innovative collaborative research and development (R&D) projects.
Terres Inovia is a member of three clusters:
Agri Sud-Ouest
This competitiveness cluster, based in the Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions of France, brings together more than 420 private and public organizations active in the agriculture, agrifood and agro-resources sectors. It fosters the emergence of innovative ideas, supports project development and facilitates access to public and private funding.
Vegepolys Valley
The Vegepolys Valley brings together companies, research and training centers in the plant sector to work on innovative projects to boost competitiveness. It is based in 4 regions (Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Centre Val de Loire, Auvergne Rhône Alpes).
International associations
Terres Inovia is involved in networks that aim to accelerate innovation and promote oilseed crops internationally. It coordinates two international associations, ISA and GCIRC. It is a member of the Agropol association.
