What's new in 2025
The organic faba bean growing guide takes you through all the stages in the organic faba bean technical itinerary, for both winter and spring types: choosing the plot and varieties, the keys to planting and fertilization, as well as deploying agronomic levers to control pests and diseases, and harvesting and storage techniques.
Two new sections enrich this 2025 edition: plant cover before faba beans, and a focus on beneficials, which represent the primary biological control lever for certain pests. Technical management has also been reviewed, in particular the planting section, an essential step in determining the crop's final potential. Sowing ranges and sectors have been reviewed in line with climatic conditions, to provide more robust yield potential.
